This report summarizes the mercury studies, and has two main objectives. First to summarize the findings of biogeochemical investigations in the Devils Lake watershed during 2002, 2003, and 2004 and compare them to findings for other lakes. The second objective is to compile and tabulate the large amount of mercury data that are collected so that they will be usefule to the Tribe in future studies.

From abstract: Results of a reconnaissance geochemical survey of the Green Bay Quadrangle, Wisconsin are reported. Field and laboratory data are presented for 695 groundwater samples, 546 stream sediment samples, and 401 stream water samples. Statistical and areal distributions of uranium and other possibly uranium-related variables are displayed. A generalized geologic map of the survey area is provided, and pertinent geologic factors which may be of significance in evaluating the potential for uranium mineralization are briefly discussed.

From purpose and scope: This report describes the hydrology of selected spring ponds and the effect that dredging has had on the ponds and their surrounding areas. The report emphasizes the water budgets for the ponds, discusses the hydrologic system which contains the ponds, and briefly describes water quality in the study area.

This report focuses on the Nevin Wetland near Madison, Wisconsin and presents a detailed report on the quality of the ground-water, it's components, and what environmental factors influence these components. It includes maps and tables.

From introduction: The purpose of the low-flow characteristics are in some instances affected by the period of record. These characteristics can vary as much as +/- 30 percent at some gaging stations depending on whether or not the severe drought of the 1930's was included in the analysis.

This report follows the study of uranium and thorium potential of the Precambrian rocks of northern Wisconsin and the western half of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
