Rein Holder.

Patent for a new and improved rein holder. This design is "to provide an attachment for the purpose of preventing the horse's tail from engaging the reins . . . and adapted to be applied to the thills or adjacent parts of the running-gear of a vehicle" (lines 9-15). It is "formed of wire and comprising a frame having its opposite vertical members secured at their lower ends to the thills, the corners and opposite members being provided with pairs of integrally-formed eyes, and a cross-bar at the top connecting said opposite members" (lines 84-90).
