Patent for a new and improved sweep-plow. This design is "to provide a sweep-plow especially adapted for the cultivation of cotton and to so construct the same that the blades or wings thereof may be adjusted for the purpose of plowing between rows of various widths" (lines 8-13). It consists, "with the sweep curved in cross-section to form the central shovel-receiving seat, which is slotted opposite the rearwardly-disposed triangular sides or flanges, which latter are perforated near their lower ends and provided with their upper ends with curved slots, with which the perforations are concentric" (lines 55-62).
