Patent for a process to "bleach, clarify, and refine the commonest and lowest grade of resin, and such is now known to the trade as black resin, as to produce therefrom, by a cheap and simple means or process, an article as pure as extra pale, or resin which is the product of the virgin dip, and which for use in all the arts where the finest quality of resin is desirable or required, is equally as valuable." Patent for a new and improved irrigation apparatus. This design "pertains to improvements in irrigating apparatus, having for its object to prevent the choking or obstructing of the nozzle and to effect the proper distribution of the water; and it consists of the combination and construction of parts" (lines 13-18).

Patent for a new piano forte design which "consists in certain novel details of construction, arrangement, and combination of the key-lever and its fulcrum and rest, a receiving-lever, a transmitting-eccentric, a secondary hammer, a principal hammer and its rest, and a damper-action and its connections, whereby greater simplicity and efficiency are obtained" (lines 10-17) including illustrations.

Patent for a new clay grinder and mixer design which "will be found to be especially useful in connection with brick-machines" (p. 2) including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved cross-tie for railroads. This design consists, "with a plate-metal cross-tie body having inclined sides which are integrally joined at an apex and longitudinally-slotted, forming rail-seats, and integral lips on said apex, of a rod oppositely threaded at its ends, nuts which fit in the cross-tie body and are adapted to engage the right and left hand threads on the ends of the rod, integral lugs formed on the nuts, means to rotate the rod, and means to lock the rod from rotation" (lines 29-39).

Patent for a new and improved platform for harvesters. This design "has particular reference to the platform thereof or that portion designed to receive the grain as it is cut by the reaping mechanism; and among the main objects in view is to provide a platform located in rear of the reaping mechanism that is capable of being contracted and extended, and also to provide other parts that may be withdrawn inward, whereby the machine, as a whole, is decreased in width, and its passage through farm-gates from field to field and over unbroken ground is facilitated" (lines 11-22).

Patent for a new and improved fence. This design "compris[es] the main end and intermediate posts anchored in the ground, the longitudinal wires connected to said main end posts and let into said intermediate posts, said end posts being suitably braced and said longitudinal wires being connected together by tie-wires, and the supplemental posts, to which are also bound or secured said longitudinal wires, having the horizontal feet of approximate figure-8 shape resting squarely on the ground or surface" (lines 69-79).

Patent for a new and improved rule-gage. This design "relates to improvements in gages for carpenter's rules; and it consists of a gage formed of sheet metal adapted to be detachably applied to an ordinary two-foot rule to convert it instantly into a gage-rule" (lines 7-11).

Patent for improvements to parts arrangement in construction of a cotton press.

Patent for an improvement in churn covers "which will embody a closed dead-air space above the body of the churn, a guide-tube for the dasher-rod, and the special construction at the outer edge of the base of the cover by which to provide a channel to fit upon the upper edge of the churn-body" (lines 10-15).

Patent for casting dental plates which builds upon a previous patent by the same inventor, Patent No. 633,222, accepted on September 19, 1899. This patent professes to eliminate previous issues with casting metal such as pinholes and air bubbles that create imperfections in the dental plates.

Patent for a flue made of separate parts so that it can be disassembled for more efficient transport, including illustrations.

Patent for improvement to wheel rims providing "means for introducing oil thereinto and distributing it throughout the whole periphery" (lines 10-12).

Patent for new and useful improvement in dress-supporters for the purpose of providing "simple and effective means for removing the weight of a dress-skirt" (lines 9-11) from the hips and shoulders of the wearer, including illustrations.

Patent for clothes pins made from non-oxidizable wire, including illustrations.

Patent for improvements in the construction of well-screens in order to increase efficiency and prevent clogs using a "cheap and durable construction" (lines 11-12) that includes illustrations and a description.

Patent for an "improved lantern for switchmen and other railroad men for use in signaling and the like, and which is susceptible of being used for prolonged signals without extinguishing the flame and which is not liable to be accidentally blown out by a strong wind or current of air either" (lines 10-16).
