Patent for a collar attachment to be used with fold down collars to provide a means to hold the collar closed, with illustrations.

Patent for improvement upon a combination-lock.

Spherically or toroidally curved, double focusing crystals are used in a spectrometer for X-ray diagnostics of an extended X-ray source such as a hot plasma produced in a tokamak fusion experiment to provide spatially and temporally resolved data on plasma parameters such as ion temperature, toroidal and poloidal rotation, electron temperature, impurity ion charge-state distributions, and impurity transport. The imaging properties of these spherically or toroidally curved crystals provide both spectrally and spatially resolved X-ray data from the plasma using only one small spherically or toroidally curved crystal, thus eliminating the requirement for a large array of crystal spectrometers and the need to cross-calibrate the various crystals.

Patent for a new and improved axle. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with an axle having a seat at its outer end and a seat located in from said outer end, of the spindle having its shank provided with a threaded inner end, and nuts turned on said inner end on opposite sides of the inner seat, by which the spindle may be adjusted to and held in any desired position" (lines 79-85).

Patent for invention for the improvement of attachments for thimbles. "The objects of the invention are to produce a device of simple construction for cutting the thread when sewing that can be readily applied to old as well as to new thimbles; also to produce the device in such manner that the thread can be quickly and conveniently cut at any desired point in an expeditious manner " (lines 17-24). Patent for a new and improved smoke and cinder conductor. This design "has for its object to provide a simple and efficient conducting mechanism to be attached to the cars, and provided with an improved coupling device at its ends, by which a coupling can be automatically effected with the conducting mechanism of an adjoining car" (lines 11-17).

Patent for a new and improved wagon for cotton pickers. This design consists in "the combination of the frame, supporting wheels, cover, side-curtains, troughs, and partitions" (lines 53-55).

Patent for a new and improved back-band buckle and hook. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with the buckle formed with the central cross-bar having the teeth and having the side hooks and having the outwardly-projecting tongue formed with the transverse aperture at its lower end, of the hook-plate formed with the reduced upper ends and the hook at its lower end having the opposite slots, and the locking key" (lines 14-21).

Patent for a new and improved machine for putting ties on bales. This design consists in a "frame-work which is to be placed across the bale . . . a shaft journaled in the frame and provided with a reel at each end, and pawls and ratchets with hooked ropes or chains . . . a double rope which is to be passed around the bale . . . and suitable U-shaped hooks . . . to provide a machine whereby cotton and other bales can be compressed at that point where the tie has come off, so as to allow another tie to be placed around the bale, and thus prevent the loss of material" (lines 16-33).

Patent for a bicycle attachment that supports the frame and can be used as a "carrier or support for a child, package, a satchel, &c." (Lines 12-13) Illustrations included.

Patent for a hay bailing machine. "The invention relates to bailing-presses, and more particularly to that class adapted for bailing hay, straw, &c.; and it has for one object to provide a simple and efficient construction in which a continuous rotation of the bailing-lever will act in conjunction with a retractile spring to reciprocate the plunger" (lines 7-13). "A further object of the invention is to provide a simple and efficient construction of detent for holding the gate after the hay or other material has been compressed and while the piston is retracted" (lines 14-18). Patent for fuel oil burner for cooking stoves.

Patent for a device that enhances the performance of cotton-cleaner machinery.

Patent for changes in the parts of cotton cleaner and condenser machinery, includes illustrations. The changes in machinery seek to eliminate impurities in the cotton while also compacting the cotton into a sheet.

Patent for the improvement of the gang plow by the plows arrangement and pivoted beams to be adjustable for convenience, including illustration.

Patent for a new and "useful Improvements in Saw Setting and Feeding Devices" (lines 5-7) including illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved cultivator. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with the base . . . of the slotted plate secured thereto, the strip on the rear side of the said plate, the blade having apertures and threaded bolts for adjusting the said blade" (lines 96-100). It further consists in "rear cutters or scrapers on the landside" (line 1).

Patent for the improvement of automobile headlight lamp mountings. Improvement on lamp bracket described in Letters Patent Number 1,129,207, issued to the author on February 23, 1915.

Patent for new bailing press that that improves "hay-presses of the full circle or continuous type for baling hay, straw, and the like." (lines 8-10) Illustrations included.

Patent for a new and improved oil press mat. This design "relates to mats between which cakes of ground cotton or other oil-yielding seed are held while being subjected to the action of the press which separates the oil from the cakes. The invention has for its object to provide certain improvements in the construction of such mats, whereby they are made more efficient and durable than those in general use" (lines 9-17).

Patent for a portable dairy that consists of a frame with legs, a pan at the top of the frame, a tube that goes from the bottom of the pan and through the middle of the frame, a perforated bottom for the dairy, a cloth that surrounds the dairy while still allowing for air circulation, and the cloth goes into the pan.

Patent for a new press for baling cotton and hay that is "simple, durable, and convenient," including illustrations.

Patent for a desk that "combines writing and advertising desks or cabinets." (Lines 9-10) Illustrations included.

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design consists in "[t]he combination, with the plow-beam, of the staple secured to the plow-beam, the curved shank provided at its upper front end with the triangular loop having notches on its lower edge, which engage with the said staple, the bolt pivoted in the said plow-beam and connected to the rear portion of the shank under the handles, and the blades secured to the lower front end of shank under the staple" (lines 72-81).
