Patent for a wire stretching and splicing tool used when repairing barbed wire and other wire fences. It connects the ends of broken wires by bringing them together and twisting them. It has a wire gripping device, an adjustable end that corresponds to the wire gripper, a way to separate the above listed parts and bring them back together again, and a clamping device.

Patent for a well-drilling apparatus that easily attaches drill-bits to the ends of drill-tubes without removing the tubes from the well. It is meant for Artesian well-boring machines.

Patent for a type-writing machine that allows the spacing mechanism to operate in conjunction with other parts so that the paper-carriage releases and return the paper automatically at the end of the line. The springs automatically release and return to action with each release.

Patent for a vault cash-indicator meant to "provide a new and improved indicator, designed for indicating an amount of money, commercial articles, &c.; for instance, indicating the amount of money contained in a safe or vault" (lines 7-11).

Patent for "a means whereby the strings of a piano may be easily and deliberately tuned, and when tuned they will be held absolutely rigid and unyielding under all circumstances while the pins are set in wood, thus avoiding any possibility of the jarring of the parts." Patent for an instrument for dividing angles into equal parts and is meant to be used with a beam compass. Patent for a simple, inexpensive, efficient, and durable water-elevating device meant to be used in collecting water from wells, cisterns, &c., and can be used in domestic and commercial settings. "Power may be increased [in the invention] to enable an operator to raise large quantities of water with facility" (lines 13-15).

Patent for a hose or pipe coupling meant to "provide a coupling of great simplicity of construction forming a tight and efficient connection by which the hose can be connected without turning it, without the screwing together of the sections and without a loose washer within one of the couplings which is readily lost and quickly gets out of order" (lines 12-19).

Patent for "a single and effectual magneto telephone bot in receiving and transmitting and improving on [the inventor's] Patent No. 529,203" (lines 14-17).

Patent for an adjustable, simple, inexpensive, and light music-holder that does not let the music slip and does not damage the music. The clamps will not get in the way of the music, and holds a book as easily as a sheet of music. Springs are not used, the staff is telescopic, and should be made from aluminum.

Patent for gearing for windmills that "is more particularly designed to provide an improved construction of gearing by which the movement of the wind wheel is transmitted to the pump rod, whereby [the inventor] secures superior advantages with respect to efficiency in use" (lines 14-19).

Patent for a car-coupling that provides "a link of this character which will remain set in a coupling position at all times, so that the coupling of the cars can be effected in an automatic manner" (lines 10-14). It can be easily adjusted to different heights and its construction prevents jerky movements.

Patent for a fence-post for wire fences and allows for the wires to be removed once secured. This invention allows for the fenced-in area to be changed and adjusted.

This invention provides "a new and improved garbage furnace, which is comparatively simple and durable in construction, and very effective for burning all kinds of dry and wet garbage, kitchen refuse, animal matter, excrements, &c.
