It consists in "[a] fluted hemispherical mass of corundum for boring Artesian wells, said mass being provided with cutting-edges which extend from the apex to the base, [and] a metallic core embedded within the mass" (lines 16-20).

Patent for improvements to cotton gins so that seed cotton can be fed to two gins at the same time, while using the same power as would normally be necessary for one gin.

Patent for "a machine for destroying boll weevil and other pests which frequent and infect agricultural products" (lines 14-16) using "suction nozzles correlated with a common suction system adaptable to sweep a plurality of rows at a time" (lines 27-30) including illustrations.

Patent for new improvements on combined adding and listing machines simplifying and economizing construction and facilitating, "rapidity of operation" (lines14-15).
