Patent for a new and improved bee feeder. This design consists in "the vertically oblong box or case having an opening in one side of its lower end, a trough or basin projecting in front of said lower opening, and lateral attaching flanges or wings" (lines 68-72).

Patent for a clip for type-writers for Remington or similar type-writers that holds post-cards, envelopes, and similar short items in place. The invention prevents "the blurring or bad impression which is apt to be made, more particularly in machines having type bars with two types each, when the paper is not held firmly to the roller or platen" (lines 12-16).

Patent for a storage-condenser and lint-cotton conveyor. It forms lint-cotton into a bat so it can be delivered to a baling machine. with this invention, "a battery or batteries of gins can continuously discharge lint-cotton to a mechanism for conveying the same to a point in juxtaposition to cotton baling or pressing mechanism, and the necessity of stopping the gins during the time the bale is being tied, where a single press-box, or single pressing mechanism is used, is avoided, thus enabling the gins to continuously operate even when a single press-box or single baling or pressing mechanism is employed" (lines 18-28). Lint-cotton discharged from a gin is stored while a bale is being tied or pressed, and the bat the lint-cotton conveyor produces is even so the density of the bale is even. Air can escape from the bat-forming apparatus, eliminating dust from the cotton.

Patent for a new and improved wick for oil lamps. This design "consists in forming the lamp-wick of one or more layers of mineral wool inclosed in a textile material, the whole being sewed together by a series of parallel longitudinal stitches" (lines 18-22). Employing textile material represents an improvement in capillarity over previous wicks made with refractory cement.

Patent for an improvement in washing-machine by attaching two horizontal "braces" to the supporting legs of the suds-box, and making the supporting legs adjustable both vertically and laterally. This feature would allow the adjustment of the suds-box’s position and to spread the legs for a firmer support of the suds-box. Illustration is included.
