This design consists in "[t]he awning frame, consisting of the pivoted curved rods, pivoted sectional braces pivotally connected to said rods, and the holding or suspending bars pivoted to said rods and having series of adjusting-apertures engaging pins or studs of said braces" (lines 74-79).

Patent for a new and improved liquid cooler. This design "provide[s] an apparatus by means of which a variety of liquids may be simultaneously cooled as required for use as beverages, and by which the glasses or drinking vessels may be at the same time cooled and protected from dust and insects" (lines 14-20).

Patent for a new and improved voting-machine. This design consists in "the combination, with the transverse bridge, through the opening of which are fulcrumed by means of a pin two parallel keys, said keys having pivotally connected to their fulcrumed ends to parallel pawls, the free ends of which mesh with teeth in two ratchet-wheels carrying hands indicating on a dial and having eccentrics upon their faces, two parallel narrow plates moved by such eccentrics to indicate the complete revolution of the hands, and a shield upon the top" (lines 124-134).

Patent for a plow that improves the type of plow employing "a moldboard and plowpoint or share bolted to a standard" (lines 9-11), with illustrations. This patent improves upon previous patents numbered 974,675 and 974,676 issued to the same inventor on November 1, 1910.

Patent for ensuring the the nasal passage does not collapse, contract, or close for breathing improvement while sleeping, including illustrations and instructions.

Patent for a new improvement in the construction of road-scrapers to make them more facilitating, faster, and with less animal power required.
