From introduction: Approximately fifty radioactive deposits and nearly fifty properties not abnormally radioactive were examined during a geologic reconnaissance for radioactive minerals in Idaho, Washington, and western Montana during the period July 1952 -- June 1955. The most important uranium deposits are in or near granitic to quartz monzonitic intrusions of probable Cretaceous age in central and northern Idaho, westernmost Montana, and northeastern Washington. The purpose of these reports is to describe the geology of the areas so that the possibilities for the disposal of high-level radioactive fluid waste in deep wells can be ascertained.

From introduction: This report summarizes existing subsurface data concerning the thickness, character, and structure of upper Permian evaporites in part of Eddy County, N. Mex. The area of particular interest lies in central eastern Eddy County between Project Gnome site, in the center of sec.

Report summarizing the general geologic relations of some uranium deposits in the San Juan Basin, speculating on the origin and localization of some individual deposits and the entire SanJuan Basin mineral belt, and attempting to appraise the chances for discoveries of additional deposits.

Report documenting work to map in detail the Roy Mesa and Enos Johnson claim areas so that ore guides could be determined and the areas could be evaluated for drilling and to complete a general reconnasaince of the favorable Mesozoic.
