Patent for "an organized machine adapted to rapidly compress charges of cotton-seed meal into cakes of sufficient solidity to bear handling and removal to a press, whereby the oil is expressed therefrom, and to deliver said cakes at a point or points in convenient proximity to said press or presses, so that the time and labor involved in preparing the meal for the, press and of inserting it therein will be reduced to the minimum" (lines 9-18).

Patent for "an organized machine adapted to compress charges of cotton-seed meal into cakes of sufficient solidity to bear handling and removing to the press which expresses the oil from the meal, and to carry said cakes from the point where they are compressed to a point or points in convenient proximity to the press or presses which express the meal" (lines 8-16).

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design consists, "with the standard and blade, of the removable L-shaped landside bar or plate, having one part or arm secured by a bolt or otherwise between the upper part of the blade and standard and the other part or arm standing at about right angles backward to resist the mold-board thrust as a landside" (lines 5-12).

Patent for new and improved submarine channel protection. This design "consist[s] of two walls approximately parallel with each other extending across the sand-bar, and a barrier consisting of inclined wings extending from the side walls to the center of the channel, and a filling in rear of the wings" (lines 46-51).

Patent for a new and improved mosquito-net frame. This design "has for its object to provide a frame . . . capable of convenient attachment to or of detachment from any bedstead, and which when attached will be firmly braced and firmly held against lateral movement" (lines 9-14). It consists, "with the standards having tenons at their upper ends, the rear and side bars having eyes receiving said tenons, and a front bar connecting the front ends of bars, of the horizontal angle-plates mounted at their rear ends on the ends of the bar" (lines 22-28).

Patent for improvements to cotton-meal heaters "to provide means to communicate as much heat as possible to the meal contained in the heater in as short a time as possible, and to retain the heat in the meal until it has all been used in forming the cakes" (lines 18-22).
