Patent for a new and improved faucet with a toy attachment. This design "relates to faucets for soda-fountains and the like; and it consists in providing the same with a jointed figure or automaton adapted to be operated by the escaping fluid" (lines 21-25).

Patent for an ornamental suspension aquarium with easily removed plug or stopper for refreshing the water with illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved seed planter. This design is "to simplify the means employed for providing at will recesses of different depths in the wheel, and also to provide means whereby a recess of both greater width and depth can be provided for cotton-seed than for corn, whereby the cotton-seed can be fed from the hopper in a more certain, free, and efficient manner than heretofore" (lines 23-31).

Patent for "improvement in machines for building and rerolling wire fences" (lines 4-6), with instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved cotton-seed-oil press mat. This design calls for three separate plates to be bound together, which allows for two pressings simultaneously. The materials (sheet metal, leather, press cloth) make for a press that is stronger, cheaper, more durable, and more effective than previous presses.

Patent for a new and improved medicine case. This design is "to provide a series of receptacles for the medicine to be taken or administered, said receptacles being of different colors, to avoid mistakes or errors in the distributions of the medicines; to provide means for accurately indicating the medicine to be taken; to indicate the time which said medicine shall be taken; to provide means for holding a spoon or other article within the cases for taking the medicine when in a liquid or powder form" (lines 15-25).

Patent for a new and improved oil-press mat. This design "produce[s] a mat which is provided with three leaves, whereby two cakes can be pressed at the same time, and the three leaves to be flexibly connected together in such a manner that the mat can be readily and easily handled, at the same time that it is made strong and durable and lasting" (lines 25-31).

Patent for an automatically opening and closing gate including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a novel bottle stopper. This design "consists in certain improvements in [bottle stoppers] whereby the outpouring fluid may be utilized to set in motion an automaton attached to said stopper" (lines 18-21).

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design "has for its object to produce a plow suitable for general purposes, of great durability and efficiency, and provided with a reversible share and landside, which are so arranged that while the point or the one and edge or flange of the other are being worn away or dulled the reversed point of the former and reversed edge or flange of the latter are being pointed and sharpened by contact with the soil through which the plow is driven, thus compensating for the wearing and dullness of the cutting-points and flanges in operation" (lines 23-34).

Patent for a new and improved plow. This design "has for its object to produce a plow which shall scour or clean itself readily in sticky soil and shall be Light of draft. To this end it consists in the construction and combination of the point and mold-board of a plow" (lines 8-13).

Patent for a game device, designed for any number of players and in a bowling alley setting or similar. Included are illustrations of the device and instructions for building the device and how to play the game.

Patent for a new and improved cultivator. This design "is to provide an improved cultivator which can be very quickly and easily adjusted to adapt the device for marking out or laying off the roads or hills; to provide improved means whereby the shovels or blades are caused to always occupy the same relative position to each other, and adjust themselves when the beams of the harrow or cultivator are adjusted, and finally, to provide improved means for adjusting the shovels at any desired angle, so that they can enter or penetrate the soil to different depths" (lines 14-25).

Patent for a new and improved cultivator. This design "ha[s] for its object the provision of strong and reliable means whereby any desired number of plow-shovels may be used and the distance between the said plows regulated or adjusted at will by very simple means. A further object is to provide means to enable all the plows, excepting two, to be removed, to adapt the device to be used to lay off rows at a predetermined distance apart to prepare for sowing" (lines 9-19).

Patent for a new and improved planter. This design consists in "the frame, the wheels, the axle provided with the fingers, and the spout attached to the under side of the frame, of the hopper having a slot in its bottom decreasing in width from its forward to its rear end, plates, adjustably secured to the bottom of the hopper, the vertical shaft journaled in the hopper, and the horizontal arms on the said shaft" (lines 92-100).

Patent for a new and improved cotton gin. This design "has for its object to so attach the front and rollers to the device that the rollers may be cleaned and freed from trash, burrs, and seed, when necessary, without stopping the gin" (lines 14-18).

Patent for a new and improved corn and cotton planter. This design "is an improvement in the class of rolling-hopper planters; and it consists in the construction and arrangement of the devices whereby the hopper is attached to the beams or frame of the machine" (lines 8-12).
