This report summarizes the investigations of soil properties, aquatic biota, and wildlife held in the marshland and upland communities on dredged material behind a sandbag dike at Bolivar Peninsula, Galveston Bay, Texas.

This report summarizes habitat development activities at the Nott Island Upland Habitat Development Site in the Connecticut River near Essex, Connecticut, including aspects of engineering, botany, soils, and wildlife.

This report is Appendix A to the Buttermilk Sound marsh development summary report and presents the results of habitat development activities the marsh in Glynn County, Georgia. The activities were made between spring of 1975 and fall of 1977.

This report is a compilation of reports made on the study of habitat development in Miller Sands Marsh and Upland Habitat Development Site in Columbia River, Oregon. This report provides data on birds, mammals, and terrestrial macroinvertebrates that were collected, analyzed, and compared with data from other regions of the United States.

This summary report is part of a series documenting the field site investigations conducted by the Habitat Development Project initiated to study for more definitive information on the environmental impact of dredging and dredged material disposal operations. This report documents tasks such as: (a) Effects of Marsh and Terrestrial Disposal, (b) Marsh Development, (c) Terrestrial Habitat Development, (d) Aquatic Habitat Development, and (e) Island Habitat Development.

This report follows the Windmill Point marsh habitat development project. The marsh was constructed in the James River between November 1974 and February 1975, then studied for benthic invertebrates, fish, wildlife, plants and soil characteristics from the summer of 1976 to fall of 1977.
