Patent for improvements in cotton gins, including "an attachment for a gin feeder to separate cotton from the burs during the gin operation...especially adapted for use upon cotton containing an excess amount of bolls" (lines 13-16). The improvements include an air suction device to remove cotton from the burs before it enters the gin.
