Fumigator.

Patent for a fumigator meant to exterminate prairie dogs, mice, rats, Texas red ants, and other pests. It burns fumes, and the container has a hose on the top that forces fumes into the pests' homes. There is an inlet pipe in the base of the container.

Lamp Holder.

Patent for a new and improved lamp-holder. This design relates to "brackets for supporting lamps and other like articles; and it has for its object to provide a device of this character which shall be adjustable in various directions and extensible" (lines 15-19). It consists "of a casting having a rectangular portion provided with holes and from which extend parallel horizontal ears, the horizontal tubular arm formed at its inner end with enlargement arranged between the ears, the vertical pin passed through holes in said ears and a coincident hole in said enlargement intersecting the bore of the arm" (lines 18-26).

Patent for a new and improved planter. This design consists in "[t]he improved interchangeable or convertible machine . . . comprising the diverging bars, the standards pivoted thereto and carrying shovels, the bridle-loops pivoted to the standards and engaging the bars, the journal-boxes bolted to the diverging bars, the axle mounted in said boxes and having a crank-arm at one end, the carrying-wheels mounted on the axle, the hopper removably secured on the diverging bars by the same bolts that secure the bearing-boxes thereto, [and] the longitudinal partition in the hopper" (lines 5-17).
