Box style jacket of brown suede. Wide pointed collar and lapels. Long sleeves. Asymmetrical closing at center front with large appliqued circle patch pocket at right front and 2 large metallic silver buttons with bound buttonholes. Closure reinforced with two large snaps on waistband. Four 12" ties at waist band with1-1/2" diameter suede circles at ends. Lined in brown synthetic fabric. Dress of multi-colored velvets. The floor-length dress has an empire waist and bell-shaped long sleeves. The upper, bodice, section is made of a sheer, multi-colored fabric woven with bands of gold thread. Over the bodice is applied sections of burnout velvet in various colors, forming bands running up the bodice, over the shoulders, and down the back, another band forming a 1" high collar, and as 2" bands around each wrist. The sections are bordered in gold cording. The lower, skirt, section is of green velvet printed in browns, greens, and gold in an abstract geometric/organic design. Fully lined in green silk(?). Center back zipper from neckline to just above waist. Three hook-and-loop closures on collar. Designer label sewn alongside zipper at shoulder-blade height at right: "Ronald Amey / New York". Evidence of removed label at inside, center front of dress below neckline.

Man's two piece suit of black and grey striped wool. A) Jacket with narrow notch lapels. Single breasted with closure of three buttons with worked buttonholes. Two 5.5" vents in back; cuffs have four non-functional matching black buttons. There are two welt pockets on the front near the hip; the right one has a smaller pocket within it; one left breast welt pocket. Partially lined in black polyester. One jetted pocket inside right breast. Shoulder pads. 18" shoulder. Designer and Retailer label inside right breast: "DeRogatis / New York / Neiman-Marcus" B) Pants with two side seam pockets. Two jetted pockets in back, the left with a black button and worked button hole closure. Front has two darts; front zip fly closure with a 3.5" long tab with two hooks, inside tab closes with a black button and worked buttonhole. Each side at waistband has adjustable tabs and two black buttons. 32.5" inseam; 34" waist at rest, or 33" waist with adjustable tabs. Designer label inside back waistband: "DeRogatis Bros, Inc. / New York"

Skirt ensemble of yellow silk with multicolored floral print. A) Blouse. Short sleeves with shoulder pads. Cuffs and collar are ivory crepe and bordered in knife-pleated satin ribbon. Center front closure of five buttons and hook and eye at collar. Unlined Size label: 8 Designer Label: V / Valentino / Boutique B) Skirt of accordion-pleated matching fabric. Below-knee-length; 1 1/2" waistband. Zipper and one button closure at left. Bound hem. Designer label: Valentino / Boutique Size (8) and care labels.

Cinta (woman’s hairband) of red cotton with multicolored stripes and silk floss tassels at both ends. Textile was handwoven on the backstrap loom with cotton warp and weft.

Cinta (hair ribbon). Handwoven on hair ribbon loom (cross between backstrap and fixed floor loom) using a slit tapestry weave. Although this piece was tagged Zihuatenango it is likely it was only purchased there.

Coat of brown suede with brown sheep's wool trim. Ankle length; notched collar. Long sleeves. Two belt-loops, belt missing. Side slit pockets at princess seams. Fully lined in brown faille with internal ties. Label in left pocket: "Lot 8476 175 Size 8"

Mola (panel for a woman's blouse). Three layer handstitched reverse applique with four keys motif on a red background. There is no indication this piece was part of a blouse - it was probably woven for trade.
