Fitted, slightly empire bodice with moderate, round, bound neckline. Flared, full-length raglan sleeves of silk chiffon. The sleeves are slit at the underarm seam from the elbow to the wrist. Center back zipper closure from neck to hip line with a single hook & eye at the neckline. Over skirt secured at waistline with four suspended, covered snaps. Slightly raised empire waist seam with semi-fitted, full length skirt. Ombre velvet belt in shades of yellow/tan to pale green. The belt is secured center front with a single hook & loop, and the closure is disguised by a bow with tails. Chiffon over skirt has center front lapped opening from waist to hem. Evening dress of light sage green/gray silk chiffon. The straight across bodice has very thin spaghetti straps and an attached over-the shoulder wrap with 4” lace border. The wrap is attached at the center front with a faux closure of six self-covered buttons and closure of a self-covered button and loop at the center back neckline. The full length straight skirt has two outer layers of gathered chiffon and a double spaghetti cord belt of self which forms a bow at the center front and closes with a hook & eye. Slight standing ring collar. The collar, waistband, cuffs, and bands running from collar along shoulders and down to cuffs are all trimmed with wide bands of gold braid/cording. The knee-length skirt is of red velour printed with large floral pattern in pink, purple, yellow, and dark maroon/brown. Reverse box pleat at center front, and zipper closure along back of garment, with three large gilt filigree buttons at collar. Cuffs also have 3 gilt buttons on each, with hidden snap closure. It is fully lined in thin white fabric. Size 14.
