Evening dress of light sage green/gray silk chiffon. The straight across bodice has very thin spaghetti straps and an attached over-the shoulder wrap with 4” lace border. The wrap is attached at the center front with a faux closure of six self-covered buttons and closure of a self-covered button and loop at the center back neckline. The full length straight skirt has two outer layers of gathered chiffon and a double spaghetti cord belt of self which forms a bow at the center front and closes with a hook & eye. Left side zipper closure with hook & eye. Lined in matching silk; white grosgrain petersham. Gathered scooped neckline interlaced with narrow, pale green silk grosgrain ribbon and scalloped and embroidered organdy ruffling, which is also used at wrist, waist, hip line and hem. Gathered ankle-length skirt. Left side zipper with hook & eye on lining and snaps on outer net layer. Skirt has additional under layer of black net. Stamped on soles: "Made / Vero / Cuoio / Italy / AA / 7" Measurements: Size 7AA; 23.5 cm. at widest; 7.5 cm. at widest point; 15 cm. at highest point; Heel: 9 cm. (3 5/8") high on axis with cap.

Box style jacket of brown suede. Wide pointed collar and lapels. Long sleeves. Asymmetrical closing at center front with large appliqued circle patch pocket at right front and 2 large metallic silver buttons with bound buttonholes. Closure reinforced with two large snaps on waistband. Four 12" ties at waist band with1-1/2" diameter suede circles at ends. Lined in brown synthetic fabric.
