Rust silk and black velvet cocktail dress. Fitted. dropped waist. black velvet bodice with plunging V-neck and 1/2-length sleeves. Neckline and sleeves bound in black satin. Three. tiered. shirred reddish/rust silk ruffles over a black velvet knee-length skirt base. Each ruffle edged with black velvet and backed with burnished bronze silk. Centerback zipper closure with hook&eye at neckline. Black chiffon inner yoke lining front and back. Label stitched over left back seam.

Cocktail dress of black silk crepe with black and white coq feathers at hem.

Cocktail hat of black velvet. The hat has a high, cylindrical crown with flattened top, and a wide brim which curves downwards. Around the base of the crown is tied a wide piece of black net veiling tied to a bow at back. The veiling "pools" on the sides and front of the brim and extends down to cover wearer's face. Belted summer dress of printed India silk of plum, bright pink, and cream pattern in horizontal bands of patterns and paisley motifs. It is a calf-length dress with ruffle of self at neck and the cuffs of the long sleeves as well as at hem and placket front.
