Slip of peach silk satin with off-white lace trim and tiny pique stitch and floral embroidery at neckline. Empire waistline with gathers below bust; adjustable spaghetti straps; below knee-length.

Petticoat of ecru colored crinoline net. Full-length. Narrow ecru linen tape waistband with hook-and eyes at back and along back center closure. Wide hem of same net. Inner layer from waist to about knees, with ruffles at sides and back forming slight bustle effect. Inner layer with hook-and-eye closures also. No labels in garment.

Picture hat of light tan straw. The cylindrical crown is flattened at top, with a sunken center. Crown is encircled by a wide band of olive green velvet ribbon, lighter on one side, that is formed into a multi-lobed bow at back with trailing ribbons. Wide flat brim turns down near edge. Unlined, with inner off-white grosgrain ribbon inner hatband, and elastic cord to help secure hat to wearer's head.

Single button to closure on waistband; button is missing.

Pouch. Orange cotton pouch, rounded at bottom. Suspended by gold metallic cord. Edged with metallic thread lace. The surface of the pouch is embroidered with various colors of metallic embroidery, mostly chain-stitch. Lined in orange cotton.
