Beret of dark brown velvet. The soft, full crown is constructed of several pieces, all gathered into brown satin hatband. Hat is lined in cream silk(?) and has inner brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. Blouse of creme silk crepe with hand-screened figures. Long sleeved, with zippered cuffs, the shirt has a convertible collar and center front opening with three carved circular mother of pearl (simulated?) buttons and one small circular mother of pearl button at collar. The shirt is hand-screened with figures reminiscent of Minoan/archaic Greek figures, including men, women, dolphins, and figures in horse-drawn chariots. Most figures embellished with lines of sequins in complimentary colors, women's dresses with beading as well. Unlined. No labels in garment.

Long set-in sleeves have 3" slit at hem with extended faux opening having three brown buttons and bound buttonholes. Center front closure of seven brown buttons and bound buttonholes. Faux flap pockets at sides. Lined in ivory crepe. Designer/retailer's label at center back neckline: "Irene / Exclusively for / Neiman-Marcus / Dallas" B) Skirt; slightly A-lined. Left side zipper closure with snap and hook & eyes on 1" waistband. Kick pleat at center back. Unlined.

Hat of purple felt. Styled as a calotte (also spelled "calot"), the hat consists of a domed crown of purple felt, which extends down on the right side. Tied horizontally around the front of the crown is a wide band of purple taffeta, which passes through slits on the sides of the crown, and emerges towards the back of the right side, tied to become a large "pouf". The hat is lined in purple satin. Maker's label sewn into lining of hat: "Edna Mye / Dallas". The hat is accompanied by two short hatpins, the heads covered with purple felt that matches the hat.

Hat of beige netting. The hat is styled as a calotte (also spelled "calot"), with low, domed crown made of layers of beige net ruffles, with hemmed edges. Designer's label inside: "Florence ... / Dallas".

Calotte of off-white satin. Styled as a calotte (also spelled "calot"), the low domed crown is covered with smooth off-white satin at front, ending in scalloped edges along front and sides with thin self piped edge with loops at upper points of the scallops; at rear, the hat has the same off-white satin folded, draped, and pleated, with a straight edge along the base. Interior of hat partly lined at front with an off-white damask/brocade fabric, the rest showing the net under-structure of the hat. Accompanied by two hatpins with oval heads covered with matching off-white satin. Maker's label inside: "Edna Mye / Dallas"

Chakra (hanging panel for a shrine or altar in homes) with Kutch embroidery. Square panel with radial, square design balanced from center. Center panel is nine squares bordered in geometric embroidery, with each square containing nine mica mirrors attached with buttonhole stitches around edges. Center panel surrounded by border with linear pattern, then border with double helix pattern, then wider band with floral motifs with mica mirrors at center. Outside that band is another border of double helix pattern, a wider band of roundels with sun pattern and mica mirrors at center, and outside border of double helix. Back lined in undyed muslin, with many stitches showing through.
