Beach ensemble consisting of bikini and coverup. The bikini top and bottom are of jersey printed with a modern art design of greens, pink and red stripes. Top has ties that go up and behind neck, and bands that reach around to back and secure with metal clasp. At front, between the cups along top edge is a non-functional tie made of piping made from the jersey material. Bikini bottom is low-cut. The coverup is of light chiffon, possibly silk, with swirling stripes in the same pattern as bikini. It is sleeveless, has a boat neckline, and rounded hemline. Commercially manufactured Levi Strauss & Co. denim blue jeans which have been bleached to white, then disassembled and reassembled with embellishments of multi-color crewel embroidered fabric and glass beads. Jeans have two front pockets and two back pockets, front zipper fly and button at waistband.

Coat dress of gray linen double weave with design of geometric pattern called "sheep pen". Street length with notched collar. Single breasted opening at front with two synthetic "jeweled" buttons having a large pearl center alternating with two snaps. Two vertical welt pockets at sides. Long sleeves. Box pleat at center back. Belted in back with half-belt of self. Lined in off-white silk. Lime green wool jacket with black velvet collar. Double-breasted button closure center front, pocket flaps but no pockets.

Dress of black crepe. Elbow length dolman sleeves with underarm insert. Blouson bodice with gathered skirt. Center back closure of self fabric covered buttons and bound buttonholes on bodice. Center back zipper closure in skirt. Contoured black grosgrain petersham is 5" wide at center front and 4" wide at center back closure. Style number 1637.

Red woven wool dress with red leather belt. a) Red woven wool knee-length dress. Long straight sleeve with functioning zipper at cuff. Medic collar. 2 long front patch pockets extend around side. Empire waist seam (short bodice). 2 verticals seams from center shoulder to hem. 22 inch zipper in back. Curved back seams 2 inches below back shoulder to bodice. 6 belt loops. Collarless, center front opening with 12 matching rhinestone buttons and bound buttonholes. Unlined. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" B) Scarf of black silk satin. Width varies from 5-1/2" at center to 9-1/2" at open ends. C) Belt of black silk satin. 3" wide with self covered rectangular buckle.

Textile. Rectangular panel of handwoven cotton/wool, with fringed ends. Mexican weaving, in the Saltillo style, done in reds, blacks, blues, greens, and white. Inlay designs with central diamond shape formed of chevrons and diamonds, width-wise stripes of gradated colors, and bands with short trapezoidal gradated bars of color.

Dress of silk knit with abstract floral design of large pink flowers with green centers. Sleeveless, with wide straps and scooped neckline. Empire waist with darts for fit. Street length. Attached belt of 2" pink velvet ribbon forms a bow at left which closes with two hook & eyes. Center back zipper. Lined in cream organdy(?) with cream acetate inner lining. Hat of mauve fur felt. Styled somewhat as a fedora, the cylindrical crown has a telescoped crown. Hatband of a wide band of golden satin ribbon and woven braid of gold, bronze, and silver. All tie at right with the braid ends becoming tassels. The wide brim curves up at front and left, down to right and back. Unlined; headband of pale peach. Day dress of dark blue silk, a-line silhouette, princess seams, knee-length, band collar, short set-in sleeves, six narrow bands of bias fabric in white, blue, and tan silk in sets of three in parallel lines that curve to one side with a swag of fabric from the implied opening, creating a trompe l'oeil belt, invisible zipper at center back.

Day dress of linen look polyester/cotton blend. Sleeveless; A-line skirt. Trimmed along hem, neckline, standing collar, and center front placket in 2” geometric braid with center row of brass tacks. Maternity dress of brown plaid and houndstooth wool with grey and white. Knee-length, short sleeves. Gray ribbed knit mock-turtle neck/collar. Two large patch pockets at hips, with button closure on each. Back has center vertical opening with 8 circular buttons and snap at collar; collar split and styled like what would be the front of a Peter Pan collar. Lined in dark lavender. Maternity dress of red wool twill. Short sleeves; reversed turndown collar opens in back. Knee length. Dress is styled with three vertical box pleats at center front from neckline to hem; 1” belt across front above waist passes through barred buttonhole openings in the box pleats and through the side seams to button inside the dress at back with three buttons. Hat of red felt. Hat has a high, domed crown of smooth red felt. Around the base of the crown is a wide hatband made of a mosaic of various types and colors of feathers. At one side is a cluster of ostrich and spotted guinea feathers forming a pom-pom, with one long curling brown striped pheasant feather extending up and back. The wide felt brim is somewhat asymmetrical, and curves down except for near the pom-pom, where it waves upwards. Headband of red grosgrain ribbon; unlined. Man's ensemble consisting of a black mock alligator jacket, black wool and cashmere knit sweater, and black hip-hugger trousers. Jacket: waist length, cropped shell constructed of panels of fake black alligator skin joined with knitted black cording. The cording connects to the panels through silver grommeted eyelets. High rounded spread collar of ribbed black knit yarn. Center front zipper closure from neck to waist. Two interior black canvas envelope pockets with snap closures under the flaps. Long sleeves edged with narrow band of black crochet with pendant black fringe. Same trim on hem of dress. Center back zipper with hook-and-eye at base of collar. Shoulders lined in black. Maternity dress of blue chambray fabric with yoke embroidered in red and white flowers with green leaves. Below knee length with short, cape style sleeves. Squared neckline. Neckline and sleeves outlined in red rickrack. Two-inch inset below yoke has ties which extend to be tied in back. Center back zipper; unlined. Dress of white raw silk and linen blend. The dress is mid-length, with rounded neck and short sleeves. Set in from neckline is a narrow band of red silk with white line print forming a collar with bow at front. The trim is repeated at sleeve hems, and at lower edge of 2 faux pocket flaps at front. The dress is seamed and with short bust darts. Center back zipper closure with hook and loop at neckline. Fully lined in cream fabric.
