Girl's dress of black silk crepe with lace rosettes. Wide round neckline with front and back smocking. Sleeveless with picot edged ruffle of self around edge of armhole and rosette at shoulders. Eight rosettes around middle to bottom of dress. Rosettes at center front and center back are placed highest, while height placement tapers off to sides. Rosettes are of gathered lace with dense clusters of purple, yellow, and blue-green French knots at their centers. Ruffles matching armholes extend vertically downward from rosettes on main body of dress.
