Center front closure with six 3/4" circular black plastic navy blue buttons, with piped button holes. Front opening ends with 17 inch center seam under last button, extending to hemline. Coat dress of black silk taffeta with off-white fuzzy woven-in polka dots. Calf-length(? - depends on petticoats), with a small modified "Peter Pan" turn-down collar, which has attached front bias bands to tie into bow at front of collar. 3/4-length set-in sleeves. Center front opening with 16 black circular plastic buttons, hidden snaps at waist and throat, and hook-and-eye at waist. Full, flaring skirt with 13 gores. Unlined. Combined Designer's/Retailer's label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina-Norell" Black silk taffeta jacquard-woven with supplemental pile design in the weft. B) Belt of matching fabric, backed with black leather. Narrow, with rectangular buckle covered in same fabric. Stamped on reverse: "30+"

Dress in two pieces. A: Overblouse, sleeveless, waist length shell in heavy ottoman crinkle cloth of heavy weight. Sleeveless. Center back full-length zipper. Small slits in sides to allow attached belt of dress to thread through and tie. Label at inside back: "Neimette Couture / Neiman-Marcus" B: Skirt of same fabric with attached underbodice. Day dress of heavy black silk crepe. Mid-calf length. Rounded neckline, the upper bodice formed as a wide circular panel that becomes shoulders. "Waistline" of skirt starts across at armpits, and hangs down with 4 gore full bias skirt. Center back opening with three 1" circular self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Unlined Combined Designer's / Retailer's label at inside seam of skirt near hem: "Neiman-Marcus dallas / Traina-Norell" B) Tie belt of self attached to dress. 1-1/2" wide with pointed ends

Three pieces. a) Heavy wool wine red colored jacket. Collar lined with navy blue velvet. Two large black button closures on front of jacket. Two deep pockets on front with no closure. Fabric label right side: Made in France by Lesur Paris. Neiman Marcus label center collar. b) light wool navy blue dress. Long sleeves. Matching large black buttons on right and left hip. Pockets with no closures at hip. Decorative seams along waist. Zipper closure in back center. Neiman Marcus label in left side seam. c) Matching navy blue belt with matching velvet on ends. Light wool navy blue fabric lined over belting. Doesn't lay flat.

Piped around jewel neckline and sleeveless armholes. 2" waistband ties at left side. Zipper closure from hem partway up left side. Center back opening with 2 hook & loops. Unlined. Six elastic loops around hem to attach to skirt. No labels in blouse. C) Skirt of black boucle wool. Mid-length; 4 gored with two zippers at waist creating a "front flap" which also secures with two tabs at waistband, each tab secured with two hook-and-eyes. Four buttons at waistband which secure to loops on hem of blouse. Lined in black silk. No labels found in skirt.

Day dress of rose floral print silk shantung with dropped waist and gathered skirt. Cherry printed trim at neckline, sleeves, and dropped waistline. Cherry trim at dropped waist ties in bow. Bateau neckline. Short kimono style sleeves in yolk. Center back buttoned closure with five self fabric covered round buttons. Dropped skirt lined in cream silk. Size 12. Combined retailer and designer label: "Neiman-Marcus Dallas / Traina Norell".

Dress in shirtwaist style of black and white vertical striped velvet with black patent leather belt (missing). Long, set-in sleeves with zippered ends. Large, Puritan collar and cuffs of white, stiffened organdy. Calf length. Center front opening with eight 3/4" circular, black plastic buttons with bound buttonholes and snap at neckline. Evening dress of tulle; white; floor length; strapless; waist at top of hip; cording at top of bodice and between bodice and skirt; diagonal and vertical gathering on bodice; skirt waist is gathered; 1/4" rhinestones on left bust and right hip; baby blue bow at right hip; 3 layers of tulle; yellow lining; 6 strips of boning in bodice; lapped zipper CB; hook and eye at top and waist CB over zipper. A) Daytime dress of oyster white linen designed as a "Sailor Dress". Straight silhouette and short sleeves. Blue "sailor collar" trimmed with two bands of white linen. Sleeves are likewise edged in a wide blue band with two white linen stripes. Red silk faille tie fastened with hook & eye closure in back. Street-length skirt has two patch pockets at front. Three darts at front sides and two at back sides. Zipper closure at left side. Unlined with petersham of oyster grosgrain ribbon with hook-and-eye closure.
