Girl's dress of light orange sheer cotton batiste. A-line; knee-length. Peter Pan collar and short gathered set-in sleeves which gather into a narrow cuff. The center front of the neckline is accented with a peach silk ribbon bow. The main body of the dress, front and back, gather slightly into the neckline. The collar and front of the dress are decorated with an embroidered grid of orange and green lines highlighted with floral clusters worked in pink, blue, yellow and lavender with green leaves. The domed crown has extending "brim" which is very short in front, descending downwards, and longer sections at side and back, also descending downwards. Hat has a hatband of pinks and beige pleated satin ribbon which is inside crown, but visible through open weave. Ribbons emerge at back of hat, forming a bow with trailing ends. Hat is unlined, with an inner green grosgrain hatband.
