The brim is also of yellow woven straw, and turns up to to vertical very close to the crown forming a high "wall" around the crown. Crown is unlined, with a pink grosgrain ribbon inside around the base of the crown. Sewn to inner ribbon band is designer's label: "Frank Olive". Measurements: 24 cm. front to back; 25 cm. side to side; 14 cm. from base of brim to top of crown; Brim rises 8.5 cm from base to top edge.

Walking length, wide short sleeves trimmed in cuffs of off-white silk with swirling cut-out motifs finished with machine buttonhole stitches, illusion square neckline with inserted panel with stripes horizontal, framed with wide collar or tie matching sleeve cuffs, tied at the bottom of the triangular panel, loose silhouette emphasized by vertically oriented stripes, a band of horizontal striped fabric below knee length, and horizontal striped fabric in shallow pleats at the bottom hemline.
