Dress of polychrome cotton print. The floor-length dress is of cotton fabric with a raised "zig-zag" texture, in the style of cotton piqué weaving. It is printed with a series of horizontal bands in geometric designs in blues, reds, greens, tan/brown, orange, and purple. The sleeveless dress has a shallow boat neckline in front and deep squared-off neckline at back. The fitted bodice section ends at the natural waist, into which the long skirt is slightly gathered. The front of the skirt has two patch pockets of the same material, with the print matched to disguise the pockets. One of the lower bands of the skirt is embellished with applied non-functional circular gold-colored "buttons". The hem of the dress has a 7 cm. wide band horizontal band of red wool trim, from which hangs red wool fringe. The center back zipper closure has a single hook-and-eye at top. The dress is lined in red fabric. The dress has two labels sewn inside. At left side at seam is designer's label "Lanvin / Paris New York"; at right side near zipper is size label "6".

Visor cap of medium brown plastic. The open crown consists of a vertical band which runs around front and sides, with brown and white elastic band across back. Printed at front center of crown is the Neiman-Marcus logo. The wide front visor is printed with three rows of scattered white squares.

Dress of navy blue silk chiffon. The full-length dress is sleeveless, with narrow straps extending across shoulders and meeting at center of the 2 1/2" wide A-line band at neckline. The straps and neckline band are covered with faux jewels. From the band drops the long A-line skirt of finely-pleated silk chiffon, which conceals a narrow sheath dress underneath. This dress is similar in style to one produced for Halley's 1967 collection.

Evening dress of off-white Qiana knit in mermaid style covered in flat gold sequins. 1" stand up band collar. Long sleeves with zippers at wrists. Center back zipper with hook & eye. 1-1/2" waistband with slightly flared skirt. Unlined. Combined designer/retailer label on inside seam near hem: "Norman Norell for I. Magnin & Co."

Dress of black silk.

Coat dress of brocade printed with yellow, orange, and purple flowers having pink centers on a navy blue/black/dark purple ground with metallic thread throughout. Mandarin collar, short set-in sleeves. Buttons all the way down center front with self covered buttons and loops. Full length pleated skirt with shaped hemline. Lined in black poly, and the fabric is lined in black interfacing. Designer's label at center back: "Chester Weinberg". Retailer's label inside near back bottom hemline: "Neiman-Marcus"

Day dress of navy blue Alaskine silk. Jewel neckline; knee length. Bracelet length set-in sleeves with four self-covered buttons at hem. Empire waistline accented with 3-1/2" attached belt of self and large bow of self to left of center. Side slit pockets. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in black organdy. Hem appears to be unfinished. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Chester Weinberg" Size tag with union label: lot 4 size 8 ILGWU label at base of zipper

Day dress of yellow linen. Sleeveless with V neck. Knee length. Princess seaming on front panel with sides and back skirt pleated. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Unlined. Evening ensemble of red Qiana knit covered in red sequins, consisting of two parts: A) Evening dress in mermaid style. Slip style bodice with spaghetti straps. Full length, straight skirt. Center back zipper with hook & eye. 1" waistband with interior red grosgrain ribbon petersham. Bodice lined in red Qiana knit; skirt lined in red silken fabric. Combined designer/retailer label on inside seam of lining: "Norman Norell for I. Magnin & Co." B) Matching Chanel-style jacket. Long sleeves. Collarless neckline, center front opening and hem of sleeves trimmed with 1" border of straight-line sequins. Horizontal welt pockets at sides also bordered with 1" straight-line sequins. Lined in matching red Qiana knit. Retailer's label at center back neckline: "I. Magnin & Co."

Maxi dress of ivory jersey knit. Long sleeves with zippered wrists. Scooped neckline. Bodice is accented with orange and red geometric insets at neckline and waist. Side slit pockets. Center back zipper. Lined in ivory polyester. Designer's label at base of zipper: "Ronald Amey / New York" Cleaning instructions tag with designer label.

Center front opening. Jacket is completely covered in vertical lines of clear/ mirror rhinestones. Lined in black silk. Long sleeves, two slit pockets at front hips, attached belt across small of back of same fur, and back vent. Double-breasted, with six large brown leather buttons in 3 pairs, which fasten to loops. Collar of fox fur. Fully lined in gray. Inside breast pocket on left. Leather label inside: "Made in Canada"; Printed style/size label, illegible notes.
