This decorative tree is assembled from metal shopping carts and large Christmas tree ornaments. It is about forty feet tall and is an annual tradition which began in 1996. The piece is presented in the Edgemar Complex, Santa Monica, California, courtyard during the Christmas season.

A) Dress of black velour knit with green "Riddler" question marks printed in various sizes. The t-shirt style dress is knee length, with rounded neckline and short sleeves. Unlined. B) Dress of velour knit with green "Riddler" question marks printed in various sizes, the question marks covered in applied clear novelty "sequins" created by Swarovski. The knee-length dress has a scoop neckline, and spaghetti straps formed of gray metal (pewter?) question marks set with emerald green rhinestones. Unlined. C) Jacket of black polyester satin printed with green "Riddler" question marks of various sizes. The hip-length jacket is single breasted with three oval gray metal (pewter?) "Batman" symbol buttons, and notched collar. Two front patch pockets. Long sleeves. Lined in green polyester satin with large black question mark on center back. Dress of kelly green wool crepe. U-shaped yoke is piped in matching green satin. Long sleeves gather at 2-1/2" cuffs with bound satin hem and closure of two satin covered buttons and barred buttonholes. Standing collar is bound in green satin. Dropped waist is pleated at sides with splits up sides; hem and side splits bound in matching green satin. Center back zipper closure. Lined in green silk.
