At top of vamp is large decorative rectangular pewter buckle with openwork along sides. One buckle lacking. White leather covered 2 3/8" high modified Louis or cuban heel. Blouse of off-white linen, with handmade lace trim for collar, cuffs and front (sewn in) vestee. Hand embroidered front and back.

Pair of children's shoes from China. Designed with straight last, rounded toe with small point at tip and at heel. Upper of pink/mauve brocade with Chinese symbols in yellow, green/gold, and white. Edged in dark blue around opening, and the panels bordered in black bands. Front of each shoe with applied stylized mask form with eyes, eyebrows, and nose embroidered in various colors, mustache along upper lip with trailing ends of red, yellow, green, blue, etc. Narrow vertical brocade band of Chinese symbols along back of heel. Set on 1/2" platform of white silk. Lined in blue cotton(?). No labels or marks.

Over flounce at dropped waist of matching whitework embroidery with inserted lace "butterflies". Gathered ruffle at hem with matching lace; matching lace at hem of over flounce. Center back button closure.

Petticoat of white cotton with lace trim around the double layered hem with upper tier of scalloped ruffle with lace and lace inserted panels. Yellow ribbon inserted under white lace in the middle section with a bow tied on one side. Full length and flared with princess panels and gathering at waist. Button closure on 1" waistband.
