Dominant Role of Hole Transport Pathway in Achieving Record High Photoconductivity in Two-Dimensional Metal-Organic Frameworks
Article describes how metal-organic frameworks with mobile charges have attracted significant attention due to their potential application in photoelectric devices, chemical resistance sensors, and catalysis. Object-Oriented Canopy Gap Extraction from UAV Images Based on Edge Enhancement

Identification of Novel Antimicrobial Resistance Genes Using Machine Learning, Homology Modeling, and Molecular Docking
Article claims antimicrobial resistance (AMR) threatens the healthcare system worldwide with the rise of emerging drug resistant infectious agents. To infer novel resistance genes, we used complete gene sets of several bacterial strains known to be susceptible or resistant to specific drugs and associated phenotypic information within a machine learning framework that enabled prioritizing genes potentially involved in resistance.

Relaxation time approximations in PAOFLOW 2.0
Article presents the implementation of relaxation time approximation models in the calculation of Boltzmann transport in PAOFLOW 2.0 and applies those to model band-structures. In addition, using a self-consistent fitting of the model parameters to experimental conductivity data, the authors provide a flexible tool to extract scattering rates with high accuracy. They illustrate the approximations using simple models and then apply the method to GaAs, Si, Mg₃Sb₂, and CoSb₃.

In vivo Evaluation of Non-viral NICD Plasmid-Loaded PLGA Nanoparticles in Developing Zebrafish to Improve Cardiac Functions
This article presents a study with the purpose to deliver a Notch Intracellular Domain (NICD)-encoded plasmid via poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles and to investigate the toxic environmental side effects for an in vivo experiment. This research demonstrates that PLGA nanoparticle-mediated target delivery to upregulate Notch related genes can be a potential therapeutic approach with minimum toxic effects.

The EAR-motif of the Cys2/His2-type Zinc Finger Protein Zat7 Plays a Key Role in the Defense Response of Arabidopsis to Salinity Stress
Article reporting that transgenic Arabidopsis plants constitutively expressing the Cys2/His2 zinc finger protein Zat7 have suppressed growth and are more tolerant to salinity stress. Scaling of axial muscle architecture in juvenile Alligator mississippiensis reveals an enhanced performance capacity of accessory breathing mechanisms

Rapid embryonic accretion of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) in the brain of an altricial bird with an aquatic-based maternal diet
This article communicates the results of a study conducted on red-winged blackbirds where brain phospholipid composition during development was measured and diet was manipulated. The dietary study confirmed that nestling brains are sensitive to fatty acid supply. Artificially structured boundary for confinement of effectively unmagnetized cryogenic antimatter plasmas
The article is from conference proceedings that discuss an artificially structured boundary (ABS) considered to consist of a spatially periodic arrangement of electrostatically plugged magnetic cusps. As envisioned, a non-neutral positron plasma could be confined by an ASB along its edge, and the space charge of the positron plasma would serve to confine an antiproton plasma. If the conditions of the two-species plasma are suitable, production of antihydrogen via three-body recombination for antimatter gravity studies may be possible.
