Data management plan for the grant, "Students Data Literacy Needs in Community Colleges: Perspectives of Libraries, Students and Faculty." The University of North Texas will conduct an 18-month planning project to examine the current perspectives of community college librarians, faculty, and students regarding data literacy; identify the data literacy competencies needed for community college students; and develop data literacy action plans for community college libraries to assist community college librarians in assessing their capability and creating a road map to incorporate data literacy into their existing literacy programs. The findings of this project will identify the role and position of community college libraries in facilitating and enhancing the development of the data literacy competencies of students.

Data management plan for the grant, "Developing a High-Quality Academic Environment for Broadening Participation of Hispanic Students in Computing." The objectives of the grant are to Enhance the education quality and broadening the participation of Hispanic undergraduate students in Computing through new pedagogy adoption, cultural transformation, and offering guided research opportunity for students. The project is also going to study the cultural asset-based education for Hispanic students and to understand which cultural asset would be the most important impact factors for Hispanic education in computing.

Data management plan for the grant, "Connecting Communities with Libraries, Archives, and Historians Through Oral Histories." The University of North Texas (UNT) Department of Information Science, partnering with the UNT Oral History Program, will host a series of forums to identify best practices and strategies to respond to challenges around building, implementing, preserving, and accessing community oral history projects. The project team will convene librarians, archivists, oral history practitioners, public historians, community-based memory workers, and others working in oral history to identify good practices, share challenges and lessons learned, and prepare an actionable roadmap for building, implementing, preserving, and sustaining community oral history projects.

The Jalakeli of the Ningol Pala, the Choir of the Royal Daughters, comprises of 6 compositions. Their lyrics are published here in the order in which they are sung. They date to the 19th century royal court of Manipur; the sixth is from the first part of the 20th century. The first four lyrics are called padavali, songs of praise to Lord Krishna and his consort the Lady Radha. They were composed during the reign of Maharaja Narasingh (regent 1834-1844; r.1844-1850) but gathered in a collection during the reign of his nephew Maharaja Chandrakirti (1834-44; 1850-1886). The first lyric is attributed to Ghanashyamara Das, and the second to Basu Ghosh; the fourth is by Kabi Karnapur. All were Bhakti poets of Bengali origin. The lyricist of the third padavali is unknown. All four are in Bangla, the language of worship and ritual in Manipur of the time. The fifth and sixth lyrics are called rachna, a lyrical form response of appreciation upon listenging to the Jalakeli. The fifth lyric (and the first rachna) also in Bangla, is attributed to Maharaja Narasingh himself and is in Sanskrit. It is reputed to have been composed upon the funeral services of his guru, …

The House of Narasingh belongs to the Ningthouja Dynasty that has ruled Manipur continuously since its establishment in the 1st century AD according to its Court Chronicle, to the present day. Both the House of Narasingh and the House of Karta descend from Maharaja Garib Niwaz (1709-1748), also known as Pamheiba) and under whose rule Manipur adopted Vaishnavism and became a Hindu kingdom.

This play is a translation of a play performed by artists of Roop Raag at Rupmahal Theater on February 20, 1966. In Crimson Rainclouds, a Manipuri play from the 1960s, an artist determined to uphold his freedom is torn between his two loves, both only too gentle in their demands, and yet deeply caring. A sensitive man, he chooses art, knowing full well that he lets them down. While Indu would like him to change his lifestyle just a little bit, for recognition and comfort, Keinatombi would be happy to give him the little care and comfort that she thinks he needs for his art. For the time being at least, Gautam would go with her. The play draws on the playwright’s interactions with Ramkinkar Baij (1906-80), the eminent sculptor, with whom she studied in Santiniketan, and who has left behind a whole suite of sculptures and paintings of Binodini. The House of Narasingh Genealogy Tree is a component of The Jalakeli Project, a web-based, women’s oral histories initiative in Manipur, India. As only women of the House of Narasingh are admitted into the two choirs of the Shree Shree Govinda Jiu Jalakeli Pala, the House of Narasingh Genealogy Tree is designed to help the Pala members keep track of familial relations in the lineage of the king. It seeks to preserve their oral genealogical information as data.

The transliteration of Asangba Nongjabi is basically phonetic. The Romanization system that emerges from it is primarily meant to be a guide to the transliteration of the play in the Manipuri Learning Module. The Roman transliteration of Asangba Nongjabi is the core of the Manipuri Learning Module for students of linguistics, language, and literature. The module includes the play in its original Manipuri in both Bangla and Meitei Mayek scripts, its English translation, and an audio performance of the play.
