McCarter writes that from the point of view of NTIEVA, there has been new energy and focus from Woolery's good words from their panel, TASA/TASB. It gave NTIEVA them insight into the leadership Woolery is providing. McCarter also writes that they appreciate Dr. Skinner and Bill Cormack, who have proven themselves as able spokespersons for the distract during their recent meeting at the Dallas Museum between DMA Education Committee and members of the Board of the Marcus Foundation. McCarter ends the letter by stating that NTIEVA is in the early stages of planning for activities during the summer of 1995 and that the involvement of the Dallas teachers makes them look forward to another successful Institute. Copied on the letter are, Jack Davis, J. Skinner and Bill Cormack.

McCarter also addresses a newspaper article from the Dallas Morning News which features the efforts between the University of North Texas and the Dallas Museum of Art connecting with one another. A newspaper clipping featuring an article on Pilot Point Elementary School preparing to welcoming almost five-hundred students for the 1994 - 1995 academic school year. Pilot Point ISD was chosen by the Getty Foundation as a pilot school for a program on visual arts, the program focusing on the history, cultural, aesthetic and production of art. The program having been integrated with the regular curriculum as teachers received training in the discipline-based art education from North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts.

A newspaper clipping featuring an article on Pilot Point ISD, participating for five summers in the North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts. During the institute they were taught comprehensive art activities and explored the relationship of art in museums and schools. Discipline-based art education is a national movement to try and reform education by expanding art education programs and incorporating the arts within the general education of schoolchildren.
