The purpose of this study is to analyze the information which is available to determine what past experience, personality and temperament traits, etc., distinguish the successful from the unsuccessful salesman, in order to have some criteria on which to base future selection.

In this study, a comparative analysis was made of the marketing courses offered in thirty-two senior colleges of Texas including the marketing courses offered at North Texas State College. An analysis was also made to determine what courses in business administration are being offered in the senior colleges in Texas.

The first problem involved in this study is to determine what growth is. The second problem of this thesis is to determine the characteristics of growth during the previous economic epochs. The third problem is to determine what companies are growing. This will be accomplished by the use of a representative list of American corporations.

An important problem in the field of education is determining the criteria by which academic success of students can be predicted. This study sets up criteria for predicting the success of a comparatively small group of students, those who have attended one or more other colleges and have made less than a "C" average in all subjects attempted at those other colleges before enrolling at North Texas State College.

This study traces the annual average prices received per hundredweight for veal calves at the Chicago market and the annual average weekly earnings of employees in all manufacturing industries. The period of time covered by the study is 1900 to 1951.

A rather unique situation presents itself in the control off materials in the petroleum industry because of great areas to cover, diversified activities within those areas, and a multiplicity of operating units being served from the depot of supplies. It is the purpose of this paper to look into the particular problems of keeping an adequate system of stores records in the oil business. The control of materials and stores distributed from the field operating unit is of necessity achieved through the use or various forms or records written as evidence of transactions among the production units being served. The prime motive of using the forms is to facilitate the movement of goods to their destination within the unit served and to provide an accurate record of the materials received, stored, and distributed.

The purpose of this study is two-fold: first, to evaluate the general requirements for Southern Association membership; and second, to examine the curriculum of the accounting departments of schools that now belong to the Association.

The problem undertaken in this study is a comparison of the Gainesville Junior College with the other municipal junior colleges of Texas. There are many ways in which this comparison could be made, but to attack the problem from every angle would involve too many problems. Therefore, only the instructional staff, the curriculum, the plant facilities, the extracurricular activities, and the costs to students in these junior colleges will be considered.
