University of North Texas Libraries established an innovative centralized system designed to increase transparency, evidence-based decision-making, and user-centeredness. A series of internal focus groups have revealed that traditional structures continue to silo and homogenize collections. How can libraries better design electronic collections to serve the needs of underserved users? It was presented at the Electronic Resources & Libraries conference held on March 8-11, 2021.

This article highlights the application of GitLab in ingesting material into an institutional repository and the folder-based deposit system that is used to move deposited resources through the ingestion process.

Instructions for the 3D Printed Papermaking Mould Version 1

3D dataset model of a hand papermaking mould consisting of three parts: a mould frame, a mould surface, and a deckle. In this version (v2), the mould frame and the mould surface are printed separately and can be fastened together with common sheet metal screws. The user will need to print all three files to have a complete papermaking mould. The resulting 3D printed model will replicate the historical artifact used in Great Britain and parts of Europe in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries with slight variations. This papermaking mould is functional and can be used to cast a 4 ¼ x 5 ½” sheet of paper. While the size of sheet this mould produces is small, the mould frame, its ribs, and the deckle are full size as found in larger traditional European papermaking moulds.

This papermaking mould is functional and can be used to cast a 4 ¼ x 5 ½” sheet of paper. This dataset contains Twitter JSON data for several Twitter search queries that were collected following the death on July 17, 2020, of American politician and civil-rights leader John Lewis, who served in the United States House of Representatives for Georgia's 5th congressional district from 1987 until his death. This dataset was created using the twarc (https://github.com/DocNow/twarc) package that makes use of Twitter's search API. A total of 6,870,881 Tweets and 42,055 media files make up the combined dataset.

This report summarizes an evaluation of the UNT Libraries' Public Health and Health Communications collection to determine if the collection is adequately serving patron needs. It was determined that the collection was currently meeting patrons' needs, and some recommendations for future collection maintenance were included.

Presentation focusing on a project-based experience to analyze workflows within technical services that influenced workload leveling and understanding of work across technical services at the UNT Libraries. It was presented at the CORE Interest Group Week held March 6-10, 2023.
