The purpose of this study is to present the basic facts and principles involved in the organization and administration of the cooperative part-time training program in the public schools of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This study was made in an effort to evaluate the need in Texas for Distributive Education--a vocational education for workers in distributive occupations. By the term, distributive occupation, is meant an occupation in which workers are employed in the commercial exchanges necessary for making available to consumers the goods and services produced by others.

The writer purposes in this study to make a survey of the airline industry in the United States from 1940 through 1946. Various phases of the development and present status of air commerce are to be dealt with, including historical growth of the airline industry, the present significance of air transportation in the nation, the federal regulation of airplanes, problems and services involved in commercial air transportation, the operation of airlines, and the future of air transportation.

The purpose of this study is to determine the manner in which a number of business concerns have dealt with the problem of reciprocity and how they are presently dealing with it.

This study is concerned briefly with (1) tracing the evolution of fire insurance and fire insurance rate making; (2) an explanation of the present most prominent rate making systems in the United States; and (3) a detailed analysis of fire insurance rating in Texas.

The purpose of this study reported in these pages was to ascertain how well the educational system as practiced in the public high schools of New Mexico was complying, 1948-1949, with the provision of the state Constitution, included in Article XII, which stipulates that "a uniform system of free public schools sufficient for the education of, and open to, all the children of school age in the state shall be established and maintained."

This study is made to evaluate the effectiveness of the secretarial training course of Henrietta M. King High School, Kingsville, Texas, in preparing its students for employment after graduation. It determines the extent to which its students have used the knowledges and skills taught in the course.
