At left, people walk past footpaths lined with ferns onto stairs that lead to the leftmost wing of the pagoda. Along the bottom of the picture is a lower section of the park, below the pagoda, which contains more pathways, stone walls holding garden planters, and an arched stone bridge over a calm pond lined with bushes and flowers.
