Rolater Hospital

Photo of an exterior view of the Rolater Hospital which was located at 325 E. 4th Street in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was founded by Dr. J.B. Rolater before 1906. The doctor's home was located next to the hospital and was turned into a medical school. The hospital and school were leased to the state in 1911 and were called University Hospital and School of Medicine. The state eventually built its own building on NE 13th in 1919. Rolater Hospital continued to operate until about 1934.
