This first letter, which is from Dr. Guillet and dated October 2, 1939, requests the consideration of hiring him as a laboratory researcher. Dr. Guillet discloses relevant background information concerning his career experience and skills. The second letter is a response from Dr. Bodansky, and is dated October 19, 1939. The letter acknowledges the receipt of Dr. Guillet's letter, and also regretfully informs him that there are no positions or funding available for him.
