McQueen discusses her childhood and education, attending North Texas State University, participation in civil rights activism, getting the streets of south Denton paved, Quakertown, employment and discrimination, her church involvement, the Denton County Courthouse, and reflections on the town. In appendix is a photo of the Denton County Courthouse and one of the Den County Confederate Memorial.
