Nell raised four boys and a girl and was heavily involved in her their lives and activities.

["Harvest of Katrina Voices" tape 2 of 3]
Video recording from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during the dress performance theatre series of "Harvest of Katrina Voices" written by Akin Babatunde. The play was held over the weekend of March 16-17th, 2012 at the Clarence Muse Café Theatre. The footage shows the actors giving an inspiring performance in honor of individual leaders in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
