Jacket of black velvet with continuous, two-inch black satin border along edges of body; collarless; no closure. Fingertip-length; long, wide sleeves with one-inch black satin cuffs similar to border. Left and right front sides of jacket naturally overlap at center, curving from top of jacket through to the bottom so that the front of the jacket is slightly shorter than the back. Horizontal stitching in two-inch panels creates quilted texture. Black lining; padded shoulders; large interior armholes ending right above natural waist; large interior pockets at left and right follow shape of garment, beginning at about waist-height.

A) Evening coat of polyester and metallic polyester knit in diamond motif. Full length; collarless; center front opening with no closure. Long set in sleeves; patch pockets at sides below hips. Unlined. B) Rolled tie belt of matching material; 69" long.

Pants ensemble of black silk satin. A) Blouse is box styled with print of large, golden upward pointing hand design on front and back, painting by designer Ralph Rucci. Pin tucks halfway across the collar, body of the blouse, sleeves, and cuffs. Cuffs on long sleeves have two dark gray abalone buttons and two matching buttons on placket opening of sleeve; bound buttonholes. Bodice is topstitched/quilted all over in 1/4" parallel rows with stitches on front following the contour lines of the armholes and neckline on front piece. Back made of three panels, with side panels with stitches following contour lines of armholes and middle panel echoing the contours from the front of dress. Bodice inner layer of same, but not stitched through. Long sleeves and center-front opening with no closure. Neckline, opening, hem, and cuffs trimmed with variegated fur, grays to black. Sleeves with 2" vent, at top of which is a large brown tooth-shaped bead. Around neckline, opening, hem, cufs, and above vents is a wide band of embroidery and beading in stylized floral patterns in browns, golds, silvers, blues, greens, etc. Jacket is part-lined along back and shoulders with gray/green silk(?). Evening gown of black loosely pleated net with black beads and sequins scattered throughout. Strapless, fitted bodice. Long, full skirt with diamond shaped clusters of beads and sequins with long, thin black feathers spraying out from the center. Attached underskirt of transparent black stiffened fabric with 7" supported hem and two layers of black net skirts under top skirt. Left side zip closure. Bodice lined in black satin, with boning.

Diagonal seam wraps around from back to front of skirt; starts at back right waist, wraps across the front to back, and ends at back left hem. Dress of red silk with all-over gold-tone embroidery. Surplice bodice creating v-neckline, sleeveless, belt effect at empire/natural waistline, above-the-knee length. Linear bands of embroidery around the neckline, waistline, hem, and along "wrap" effect across the front side.
