Recording of Manuel Rocha Iturbide's Parlantes. This work was inspired by the abundance of screens and loud speakers that fill big cities in Japan. The composer explores the role speakers now play in the daily cultures of Japanese cities. The protagonists of this composition are the speakers and the recorders that reproduce these sounds. This reflects the gradual disintegration of the human voice through modern technology.

Recording of Roderik De Man's Mensa Seecunda. This work is a multimedia project realized by Jorge Isaac, a recorder player, and a performer. This piece involves dance, video projection, and live electronics. The subject is the life of the ambitious Roman masterchef, Apicius, who sacrifices everything to find the perfect recipe.

Recording of Nikos Stavropoulos' Imago Die. According to the composer, this work is meant to represent the visual and sonic image of a form that exhibits the kinetic and morphoplastic properties of a self-defined conscious organism. The work evokes a never-ending journey; a constant universal oscillation that even when it appears to have stopped, keeps vibrating with the finest and most indiscernible movement. The imagery in this video includes that of an eye transforming into a small, circular organism and then back again.

Recording of Natasha Barrett's Agora. This work is an installation and a performance involving electroacoustic music, theatre, and the structural use of space. The theatre version of "Agora" is an event where spatial-music is the structural and theatrical driving force. There is one soprano performer but no "acting out". The work extends the aesthetic of the music theatre of Kagel and the consideration of delineated space defined in Oscar Schlemmer's theory of performance.

Recording of José Lopez Montes' Sin Tesis. This is an electroacoustic work for tape only and was created from the challenge of organizing sound material that the composer has accumulated during the course of his learning with Csound and create a new piece. The materials that were combined were the residue of many hours of experimentation with Csound; it is therefore a work "without thesis".

Recording of Agnieszka Waligórska and Pekka Siren's Stilleben in Cracow. This composition was inspired by the city of Cracow which has been badly polluted by Nove Huta steel, however the inhabitants are dreaming of wind and birdsong. This work contains the sounds of birds, water, and the flute.

Recording of Etienne Saur's Jeu de carte. This work was created for the open work project as part of the Synthèse Festival. This work is meant to celebrate the bicentenary for George Sand by using a computer playing traditional instruments. Sound material that has been used in this piece includes: music box sounds, barrel organ, and sound card for the computer.

Recording of Elsa Justel's Un regard sur la ville. This is a video that includes an accompanying electroacoustic composition that was created by Justel as well. This work is based on photographs of shop windows in the city of Paris and its suburbs. The visuals are distorted in nature and are meant to represent a transformed reality into a fantastical world.

Recording of Silvia Matheus' Cloy. This work was inspired by the sounds people make that can create judgement from others. The foreground of the composition is the sound of laughter from a woman to bring forward the issues of desire, irony, and female agency to the attention of the listener. The composer took inspiration from the philosophers Aristotle and George Lewis.

Recording of María Inmaculada Cárdenas Serván's Praia das catetrais. This work premiered in Madrid within the framework of the "XI International Festival of Electroacoustic Music - Punto de Encuentro". This work is dedicated to the cliffs off of the north coast of Galicia and mixes the sounds of everyday life with clarinet improvisations. The text spoken in this work was done by Guillermo Abraldes, whom the composer thanks for his selfless collaboration.

Recording of Diana Pérez Custodio's No todo el mundo puede ser adorable. This work explores the idea that "life smiles down on us if we are adorable". This piece premiered during a concert that was part of the "XI International Electroacoustic Music Festival Punto de Encuentro".

Recording of José Iges' Leccion de retorica. This work revolves around the composer's interest in the problem of rhetoric which includes the works of musical Romanticism and those of the piano. To explore this idea, the composer used samples from a recording of Brahms' “Variations on a Theme of R. Schumann, Op.23”. The composer followed the example of the works Amici della Musica di Cagliari and Ricercare.

Recording of Juan Antonio Lleo's Pulsar 32b. This work was composed as part of the 2002 Midiverso Installation at the XVIII Contemporary Music Festival, wherein the composer acts as a luthier of an impossible instrument, a hemisphere with 32 one-button-instruments. The Midiverso players are the ones who decide to interact with the system, playing different buttons and sounds. Therefore, they are the composer, player, and audience at the same time.

Recording of Leopoldo Amigo and Miguel Molina's Mensaje Electroacustico de Navidad de S.M. a la Nacion. This work was created from a voice that belongs to a hypothetical King who is subliminally transmitting a message to the audience on Christmas Eve. It is meant to be broadcast on December 24th to families in front of the television.

Recording of Peter De Moncey-Conegliano's In memoriam George Sand. This work pays homage to George Sand whose combination of acute social conscience and intense artistic sensibility are rare in today's world. This piece speaks on the outcomes of the Industrial Revolution and the first demand of socialism. The material in this piece includes texts by George Sand, fragments of a 19th century folk song, and Chopin's "Revolutionary Etude".

Recording of Luigi Morleo's Fanes for Aenea. This work is a composition for solo tape, however it is possible to be used in a performance with any instrument. The composer describes this work as a composition that distinguishes two runs that meet and realize they cohabitate but don't create an acoustic fusion.

Recording of Ana Gabriela Yaya Aguilar's Mi Sol Menor. This work was inspired and dedicated to the composer's sister, Soledad, who plays harp. This piece is a sound portrait about the relationship between her and her instrument throughout her life. The work as a whole aims to recreate the relationship between a musician and his instrument.
