Offrande is a piece in four short tableaux which have in common sound materials coming only from two series of metallic drums, but which differ in the way of interfering with the electroacoustic elements. This is an octophonic electroacoustic work in two movements that was inspired by the 18th century English poet, William Blake, who included dual imagery in many of his writings. The composer tried to include this concept of duality in her piece. Sample recordings of Thomas Gardner playing his cello were also used as a base for sound exploration.
