Notes and Documents column including excerpts from the unfinished manuscript entitled "Cushion of Confidence," by Theresa Galloway Holman, wife of Oklahoma Senator H. H. Holman, who served in the first Oklahoma Senate from 1907-1909. In her manuscript, Mrs. Holman speaks about the early politics of Oklahoma including the adoption of a constitution, celebrating statehood in 1907, and general comments as a wife of the first legislature.

Notes and Documents column including "The Busby Theatre," an article detailing the history of the Busby Theatre in McAlester, Oklahoma, including a short biographical sketch of Colonel William "Bill" Busby, the person the theatre was named after.

Notes and Documents column including "The Karen Daniels Petersen Collection" which highlights the collection of photographs collected by Karen Daniels Petersen over the course of her research and writing career that was donated to the Oklahoma Historical Society in 2009. Most of the donated images depict persons who were associated with David Pendleton Oakerhater, who was a Cheyenne warrior turned artist. Several photographs from the collection are included in the section.

It also includes a short article describing the Oklahoma State Museum of History's acquisition of barrels of emergency supplies originally manufactured by the Civil Defense Agency of the Department of Defense due to fears of atomic attacks on America after WWII and during the Cold War.
