Amy discusses Submarine School in New London, Connecticut (1943-1944), his assignment to the Chub (1944), his responsibilities as an electrician's mate, and various patrols in the North China Sea, the Java Sea, and off the Philippines.

["Spirit of the Cloth" textile exhibition gallery walk through video]
Video footage from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during a gallery walkthrough during the summer exhibition of the James E. Kemp Gallery "Spirit of the Cloth: African American Fiber Artisans". The footage shows an unnarrated walkthrough of the gallery with pauses on piece descriptions.
