In the memo of the fax, a handwritten note reads, "Bill - this 2 page summary be be what you used to show the other ----" Included with the fax is the agenda for the teleconference between Texas and Nebraska.

A proposal from Vicki Rosenberg, program officer at the Getty Center for Education in the Arts, and the Regional Institute Directors, titled "DBAE: What's Working? What's Not?" In the proposal description, the Regional Institute Program is a multi-year project of the Getty Center and represents the most extensive research and development effort in the history of art education in the United States. The purpose of the super session, which they are proposing, is to show that the principals that guide, DBAE, discipline-based art education, is highly flexible and adaptable to many educational contexts.

Following this is the film itinerary, some films are almost an hour in length while others are only a few minutes. There will be showings everyday. At the top of the first page of the document William McCarter has written his last name.

North Texas Institute for Educators on the Visual Arts, From The Sacred To The Secular In Art by Larry A. Gleeson. Monograph Series. Dr. Gleeson is an associate professor of art at the School of Visual Arts, the University of North Texas. The document is his keynote address to the participates who gathered to begin a two-week intensive experience with art and the teaching of art.

In order to be reimbursed for expenses during / fulling the terms of their contract they must follow the guidelines, such examples as having original receipts and not photocopies. Attached to the end of the guidelines is a filled out travel expense report from William McCarter for the dates of the conference.

The department of education is inviting applications for new awards under many of the department's direct grant and fellowship programs. The document goes into great details about the application and instructions for the types of grants they will award under specific programs. These pages belonged to the desk of Jack Davis, William McCarter, as they researched foundations and charities to support their education reform program.

A summary of the UNT/GET Meeting Re SchooLINC/PRC, February 19, 1992. In attendance was UNT, Chancellor Alfred F. Hurley, Vice President Fred Pole, Interim Education Dean Richard Simms. GTE, Mark Emroy, Education Division, John Clark, Education Division, Troy Hignight, Mgr. Customer Relations and Melvin Willis, District Manager. An hour-long meeting occurred in Chancellor Hurley's office at UNT on February 19. Mark Emroy stated that GTE will not provide any services to SchooLINC/PDC on a pro bono basis. Little or no progress toward resolution of SchooLINC/PDC issues was achieved during the meeting.

A director's forum: showcasing innovation proposal for the presentation submitted by Nancy Roucher, "Discipline-Based Music Education." Inspired by the success of the DBAE institutes, music teachers requested a similar approach in music, Roucher will work with Sarasota County music educators to relate the discipline-based concepts to musical forms.
