Interview with Howard Yergin, an employee of Caltex Petroleum Corporation from New York City. Yergin discusses his career with the company, including his education and Army service, hiring by Caltex, move to Shanghai in 1948 and business conducted there, businessmen who helped reestablish Caltex's Chinese market after WWII, fleeing China in 1949, attempts at recouping capital from the Chinese government, operations in Hong Kong, changes in the oil market over the years, corporate financing, internal reorganization, OPEC, Persian Gulf economies, South African operations, the tanker fleet, and the company's move from New York to Dallas.

At upper bust, to left and right of center front opening, are attached paired flaps of self fabric giving appearance of patch pockets with flaps. Skirt gathers at natural waist with full skirt. Gored panels to left and right of center back seam of skirt. Inner bodice of black net with boning and black grosgrain ribbon petersham; closes at center front with 9 hook & eyes. Unlined. Dress of red silk crepe. Collarless, V-shaped neckline. Empire waistline with knotted tie at center front having trailing, pointed ends. Long bishop sleeves with decorative tie cuffs and two snaps for closure. Below knee length; flared skirt. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in red silk. Dress of black velvet and moire. Form fitting; floor length; bateau neckline at front; low asymmetrical triangle back. Long fitted sleeves with 4" invisible zippers. Bodice and upper portion of skirt are of velvet; bottom of dress has three tiered moire ruffle attached asymmetrically to skirt at above knee length on left and diagonally to right side below knee; Hanging loops on inside at shoulder; binding at armhole seam. Dress of orange and pink silk blend. Strapless; pink bodice with empire waist; orange floor-length skirt. Rhinestone bow brooch at center front with attached pink drape that wraps around back and trails to floor in front. Very structured interior.

Evening gown of turquoise, purple, slate blue and royal blue clipped velvet in leaf foliage design. Full length with two gores at center back creating a slight train. Long bishop sleeves with covered button and loop closure; Mandarin collar. Center back zipper with two self-covered buttons and loops. Lined in light brown crepe. Designer's label: "Adele Simpson"

Dress of crepe in bright multicolored painterly print. Below knee length; long bishop sleeves gather into bound wrists with loop and covered button closure. Rounded neckline. Draping on bodice and outer wraparound skirt meet at left waist. Center back self-covered button and loop closure on bodice with zipper closure on skirt below waist and snap closure at waistline on wrapped outer skirt. Script from the WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth, Texas relating a news story about a restaurant, "Dallas Cowboys," opening up in New York where Texan, Clint Murchison, couldn't find a good bowl of chili and decided to open his own. The remainder of the script mentions similarities between Texans and New Yorkers as they've come and gone between both states.
