[Midland County Courthouse and Clock Tower]

Photograph of the Midland County Courthouse and a clock tower built in the southeast corner of the courthouse square. The courthouse has five stories, the upper floor added in 1974, and the clock tower is narrow with several clock faces on each of its sides. Photograph of the Midland County Courthouse, remodeled in 1975 with an additional fifth floor that extends over the top of the main structure on all sides, supported by rows of concrete pillars around the building. The courthouse's front doors are accessible by stairs and a long concrete pathway, in the middle of which there is a small Statue of Liberty replica. Cars are parked along the front curb of the building, and trees and shrubs are placed along the lawn surrounding the courthouse.
