Letter from Congressman Bob Casey to Michael Herrera, dated June 13, 1966. Casey encloses a letter from Cleburne Maier, who had recently interviewed Jesus E. Garcia. The position Garcia interviewed for does not have a current vacancy, but Maier was impressed with Garcia and suggests that he take the Federal Service Entrance Examination.

Letter from Congressman Bob Casey to John J. Herrera. Casey offers to help Herrera's son, although Casey writes that "I'm sure I don't have to tell you that I haven't been here long enough to accumulate any patronage." Casey also offers to find some time for Herrera to visit in July.

LULAC 33rd National Convention name tag for John J. Herrera, Past National President, Council #60. The nametag has the LULAC emblem and lists the conference as taking place in El Paso on June 22, 23, 24, 1962.

Lopez and Antony Garcia, informing them that Garcia received a letter from Jack Ross of the Board of Pardons and Paroles. Ross has recommended parole for Pete Hernández.

Letter from Oscar M. Laurel to John J. Herrera, dated June 26, 1964. Laurel writes that the mother of Gus C. Garcia's children has agreed to the establishment of a scholarship fund in his honor. Laurel requests Herrera's support in setting up the fund and presenting it to other LULAC members at the upcoming convention.
