PASO endorsement convention booklet. The convention was held March 15-16, 1962, at the Continental Hotel in Houston, Texas. The cover features a photo of John F. Kennedy and a quote from his inauguration speech, and the interior pages include congratulatory ads from various senators and other political representatives. Booklet also includes an introduction by State PASO Chairman, Roy Elizondo, and a program schedule.

The program includes a list of the incoming administration as well as the outgoing administration for Laredo LULAC Council No. 12. The main speaker was John Connally, Governor of Texas. Includes Governor Connally’s signature and an inscriptions to John Herrera.

Program for the reception and appreciation dinner honoring Roberto Ornelas, National President of the League of United Latin American Citizens. The appreciation dinner was held on October 1, 1967 at 4:00 pm at the Royal Manor in Beaumont, Texas. The program includes the LULAC Code and all committee members for the event. John J. Herrera spoke at the dinner as did other past LULAC National Presidents and two Congressmen.
